A 15-story hotel was built in China in 6 days.
The hotel is level 9 Earthquake- resi stant, sound-proofed, and thermally-insul ated. Granted, the foundations were already in place, but this is still quite the impressive feat! Not only that, but the construction materials are only 1/6th as heavy as traditional materials, and waste from the construction process only amounted to 1% of the total weight of the building. It's also extremely energy efficient. Energy used for its air conditioning amounts to about 7 liters of oil per year.
