More than 100 killed in Peshawar suicide blast

PESHAWAR: More than 100 people were killed and 150 others including women and children were injured in a suicide blast in Qissa Khawani bazaar of Peshawar, Geo News reported.
Sources said suicide bomber blew himself up outside Kohati gate near the Pakistan Church. Two blast were heard in the areas.
Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have cordoned off the area after the blast.
Sources said 35 injured have been shifted to Leady Reading Hospital. More causalities are feared in the blast.
The eyewitnesses said the worshipers were leaving the Church when the blast occurred. More than 500 people were present in the Church at the time of suicide attack.
Commissioner Peshawar Sahidzada Anees has confirmed the death toll in the suicide blast, adding 45 people were also injured. The condition of some is said to be critical, he said.

SSP City Police said a policeman was martyred and another wounded in the attack.
