Stig Ã…vall Severinsen (Denmark) swam 76.2 m (250 ft) under ice at Qordlortoq Lake (Lake 40) in Ammassalik Island, Sermersooq Municipality, East Greenland, Denmark, on 17 April 2013. The depth of the ice was between 80 and 100 cm (2.62 and 3.28 feet).
